Employment Requirements

First Choice Home Care thoroughly screens and must meet strict guidelines for employment, such as prior experience, a valid state license and driver’s license. Additional certifications are required for patient care positions.

We always perform a comprehensive background investigation that requires Department of Health state and federal criminal background clearance. In addition, all caregivers are required to provide references and must also pass a competency exam. Only caregivers who pass our in-depth screening process, orientation and training are employed by First Choice Home Care.
